The Mammoth Cheese

The Mammoth Cheese is a 22,000 pound cheese on display in the Tay Basin, next to Crystal Palace. Twelve cheese makers donated a day’s supply of milk to the project in 1893 for display at the World’s Columbian Exposition to promote Canadian cheese around the world.
