Murney Tower

Built in 1846, Murney Tower National Historic Site is part of the defensive Martello Tower fortifications of Kingston. It was never used in a conflict, but was used as barracks for soldiers and their families for years. Its three floors display a collection of military and domestic artifacts of 19th century Kingston, all of which can be explored by the public during tours.
