Rideau Canal Route

If you like twisty turns than you’ll love the winding, narrow roads that will take you along the Rideau Canal. This scenic route goes through the magnificent Canadian Shield, past quaint villages and towns that have been nominated and have won the “Prettiest Town in Canada”. Explore this historic region of locks and dams that were constructed almost 200 ago. Make time to stop into Westport, Newboro and Merrickville for a pit-stop along the way.

1000 Islands-St. Lawrence Route

The 1000 Islands has been called one of the most beautiful places on earth and one of the best ways to see the breathtaking scenery is by bike. Take the 1000 Islands/St. Lawrence Route to experience all that this area has to offer. This route will take you through historic communities such as Gananoque, Brockville, and Athens. You will also cruise down Thousand Islands Parkway for a spectacular scenic ride.

Distance: 238 kms / 175 Miles

Length of Time: 3.75 Hours Round Trip


The CanAm Route

Grab your passport, The CanAm Route will take you on a scenic trip into upstate New York along the east shore of Lake Ontario. Take a day trip south, to visit our USA neighbours, just across the border. Your journey begins in Kingston with a ferry ride over to Wolfe Island. From there travel to the other side of the island to board Horne’s Ferry. You can dock in Cape Vincent, where you can ride off and explore the U.S. Seaway Trail. This loop will take you as far south as Syracuse and then back to the border where you can hop off your bike and enjoy the ferry rides back to Kingston.

Distance: 400 kms / 249 Miles

Length of Time: 6 Hours Round Trip
