Chaffey’s Lockstation

Chaffey’s Lockstation is built on a short, excavated channel. It is located on the south side of the Rideau River, with a dam spanning the river on the north side of the site. Chaffey’s Lock allows navigation between Indian Lake and Opinicon Lake, and is overlooked by the nearby Lockstation House Museum.
